Reiki and Stress Management Training
I’ve been a bit quiet on here recently, for which I apologise. November has not been a good month for me, health-wise. I’m sure you know someone who has had this cold-type illness that comes and goes and takes forever to clear. I’ve dosed myself up with all manner of holistic (and some over-the-counter) remedies, which have certainly helped me to stay up and running, and it does seem to be finally taking itself off (I hope!). I have managed to take some time to think about my offerings for the New Year, though, and I’ve been working on putting together a workshop on Stress Management, probably to take place in mid-late January. Stress is something nearly everyone has to deal with on a regular, if not daily, basis, so I thought it might be timely to offer some new techniques, and a space in which to try them out. I’m also offering Reiki training for a small number of students, probably in February.
Subjects that will be covered include:
- quick-fix techniques for instant calm
- forgiveness and what it can do for you
- the Science of Stress
- What Works for You
- The Bigger Picture
I haven’t got it all written out yet, but it will probably 2-3 hours long (depending on number of participants and how much audience participation occurs), on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Do let me know if this is something you might be interested in. I’m hoping to be able to offer this at an introductory price of just £10 per person, though subsequent sessions will be charged at a higher rate.
I’m also intending to offer Reiki 1 training again, probably in February, so if this is something you might be interested in, do get in touch and let me know when would be convenient (or inconvenient) for you, and I will arrange a date. This training is available for just £40 (or £50 for a 1-1 session), and will take around 3 hours – again depending on number of participants. You will have the chance to practice your new skill before you leave, but you will need to sign up at least a week in advance of the date, to give yourself the chance to read the Reiki Manual I will email to you, before you attend. If you have already been trained in Reiki but haven’t used it much and don’t feel confident in using it, you would also be welcome to come along to this session.
I think that about covers it for now. I look forward to hearing from you if you are interested in either of the sessions I’m planning for early 2016, and I’m sure they will be repeated later in the year if there is sufficient interest, so don’t worry if you can’t make it to the first session!
