Most people know they have a tendency to get in their own way. The reasons are largely hidden in your past and they’re obscuring the beautiful, bright future you’re easily capable of creating. As a qualified life coach and holistic therapist, I can ask questions and share insights that help you think in ways you’ve never thought before. As Einstein famously said, you can’t solve a problem from the level at which it was created. But what if a few conversations could help you gain a higher perspective on it? That’s when your life could really take flight!

I’ve been working with clienta and on my own spiritual growth and personal development for over 20 years. I’m endlessless curious about how our thinking creates our reality, and how our reality can change when we change our thinking. So over those years, I’ve studied and gained certificates in 14 different therapies, including spiritual and life coaching. I work with my intuition and a wide knowledge of what makes people feel stuck or in need of support. I use and combine the tools in my box, using elements of include life coaching and mentoring, hypnotherapy healing, Reiki classes and treatments, past life work, and menopause therapy (coaching, and mentoring and support).

Sometimes, all it takes to make a huge improvement in your life is the right conversation, as it did for Sam. We had a number of fascinating conversations, and although she does still get anxious at times, she has tools to deal with it now and it doesn’t affect her whole life like it used to.

One of my hypnotherapy clients had a phobia of fruit, and many years later, she posted a comment on my Facebook page about how I’d helped her: ‘Having support from Karen Tucker a few years ago, I will vouch that she gives good support, kind and compassionate. So don’t hesitate. If you are tempted .. jump in! [She was] doing hypnotherapy to help me not be fearful of fruit and it sure worked. I still don’t eat much fruit but I haven’t since felt overwhelmed / sick at the sight of fruit. And I now buy and eat it when I fancy … it was a big moment in my life that to some people may seem strange but to me it was huge.’

Menopause Champion

Are you struggling to navigate menopause and come out the other side relatively sane? Trying to lose some of the stubborn weight that the change in hormones has made it seemingly impossible to shift? I offer knowledgable support, coaching and mentoring, advice and coaching on nutrition, goal setting and achievement, and a listening ear that knows what they are going through. As a member of my employer’s (yes, I still have a day job for now!) Menopause Cafe, I’ve often been able to give tips and advice that’s helped other members. Menopause can be scary, worrying, and stormy, so it’s good to know you’re not alone, and that there are ways you can ease the symptoms. Intuitive Support

It can be hard to admit your deepest fears to loved ones, especially when they’re anxious and trying to be supportive, but worried and upset about your condition. Linda came to me for Reiki to help her navigate cancer, but she left with so much more.

‘I have a secret fear that I can’t tell anyone around me – they’re being so great at supporting me through cancer, I just don’t feel I can add to their burden. But there’s a gremlin on my shoulder, telling me that one day, I’m just not going to wake up, and that’ll be that. I’ll simply disappear. I’m not sleeping well because I’m afraid I won’t be here in the morning.’

We had this discussion before Linda’s first session, and while giving her Reiki that day, I was shown an image of a blue angel. I told her this, and her eyes opened wide. ‘I have a little blue angel figurine! I’m going to take it to all my chemo sessions now. Thank you so much!’  When she arrived for her second session, she told me the blue angel was always with her. She’d been sleeping well and her fear had gone. It’s incidents like this that make being a therapist so worthwhile.

In 2024, a friend messaged me out of the blue to tell me she’d been diagnosed with extensive cancer. We exchanged messages and talked on the phone, and she told me how scared she was. At her funeral only two months later, everyone was saying how brave and positive she’d been. Only I had seen her fear. For everyone else, she’d maintained the mask. I felt honoured that she trusted me to help her deal with that fear so she could be strong for everyone else around her.

Supporting You

D you need to talk to someone outside the situation, who won’t judge, criticise, or tell you what to do? Or do you need thinking time, and someone to ask you the right questions? Sometimes that’s all it takes to imagine a new future and how to achieve it.

It’s not always easy to ask for help. But you are worth it, and so are your loved ones. Because when your life changes for the better, so do the lives of those around you. You’re been there when friends need help, but asking can feel like a weakness. And some friends are more helpful than others – some will get indignant for you and make things feel worse, or try to tell you what you should do, when they haven’t fully grasped the problem. My only agenda is to listen, help you find your own answers, and offer the empathy and compassion to find your way through. This can come as a breath of fresh air after the sometimes suffocating response of those around you.

I offer my services from my home in Tunbridge Wells, but if you can’t visit me in person, we can work together over the phone, WhatsApp, Teams, Skype, Facetime etc, or even email. I can also send distant healing to you or to someone else, but please ask the other person’s permission.

Most of the techniques I offer can be combined with other therapies, and many complement each other. For instance, crystals can enhance a Reiki session; flower remedies can reinforce coaching goals; and Spiritual Healing at the end of a stress management session can help you leave feeling thoroughly relaxed and refreshed.

I have a large library covering spiritual and complementary therapy subjects, which my clients are welcome to borrow and read, and I also have tarot and oracle decks for intuitive readings to help point you in the right direction.
