I achieved my Diploma in Hypnotherapy in 2013, and a fascinating course it was, with really good results for my case study clients. As a member of the National Hypnotherapy Society, I renew my membership every year, but I also have the original diploma to prove my qualification.
Contrary to popular belief, the hypnotic state is nothing scary or unusual. You enter it every night between sleeping and waking. And you don’t even have to enter a special state for some techniques.
So don’t rule out this therapy just because you aren’t sure if hypnosis is for you!
Hypnotherapy can help with such a wide variety of issues, and can really help you get to the bottom of what’s causing symptoms that may have puzzled you for years. You may have tried everything else you can think of, and be frustrated to be still suffering with migraines, phobias, annoying habits, weight issues, anxiety or panic attacks, or a number of other symptoms that you’d love to see the back of. Hypnotherapy may well be able to help.
hypnotic state is simply the semi-asleep feeling you get in between waking and sleeping, and it happens naturally to us all, pretty much every night. But what it can do is to help you find answers that you may have searched for in vain for most of your adult life; or resolve difficulties, traumas, or physical symptoms you may have thought you had to put up with for life.
What many people don’t realise is how much their current symptoms are founded in past issues, which they may have almost no conscious memory of. So when beginning to look at the reasons behind your difficulties, you may be surprised to find out that something you thought you’d put behind you is still causing you problems today. But it’s my job to gently help you to uncover and resolve these memories, so you can lay them down again with more positive emotions attached. Once that happens, you may find that the original difficulty resolves itself with no further treatment. Or you may wish to take away a personalised CD with a recorded session created especially for you, which you can listen to every night before you go to sleep, or whenever you feel the need for some extra input.
Whatever issues you come to me with, I will work with your conscious and subconscious minds to gently release the underlying issues and help you to create the life you really want.
Ultimately, it’s your life we’re working to improve. If I can give you tools and treatment to make it better, I’ll have done my job well. I don’t just ‘give you a fish’, as the saying goes. I teach you techniques that you can use in the future, to help yourself and others to become the change you want to see.
