Stress Management Workshop news
News about my upcoming Stress Management Workshop
Yes, folks – it’s coming! My Stress Management Workshop will be happening at last on Saturday 23rd January 2016. Starting at 1pm, and lasting for 2-3 hours, it will be at Dazl Hair and Beauty, on Mount Ephraim Road in Tunbridge Wells.
The price for this workshop is just £15. It will combine useful information with a variety of exercises and techniques, so you can find what works for you. The price will increase for subsequent workshops, but as this is its first outing, I’ll be asking you to tell me what you felt works and what could be improved.
It is sub-titled ‘Become the Calm You Want to See’. Subjects covered will include a number of exercises to help let go of stress, and a bit about the science of stress. There are also sections called What Works for You, forgiveness, sleep hygiene, the bigger picture, better self-talk, and Other Therapies.
By the end, you will create your own personalised stress management plan, and there will be time to ask any questions I haven’t already answered. There will be a set of notes available, which I can email to you after the event, including the exercises we did together. I’m hoping that an expanded version of these notes will eventually become an e-book, available on Amazon.
I have delivered stress management workshops before, including to a stressed-out bunch of secretaries, and a stressed-out bunch of specialist teachers, and have had some lovely feedback. One lady told me that her husband had used several of my techniques to help him recover from a heart bypass operation, and was one of very few people ever who had actually grown a new piece of artery! Others have told me, months or even years later, that they are still practicing some of what I taught them.
If this sounds like something you’d like to be part of, please message me on the website or on Facebook to book your place – or places!
